Effect of GBR Combined with PRF in the Treatment of Anterior Tooth Defect in Aesthetic Area
Objective To investigate the effects of guided bone regeneration(GBR)combined with platelet rich fibrin(PRF)on alveolar ridge bone mass and alveolar bone mineral density in patients with aesthetic anterior tooth defects. Methods A total of 68 patients with anterior tooth defect in aesthetic area diagnosed and treated in Jiaozuo Coal Industry(Group)Co.,Ltd.Central Hospital from January 2017 to December 2021 were selected as the study objects.According to the principle of randomization, the above patients were divided into study group and control group. All patients received dental implant surgery in anterior tooth defect area combined with GBR.The patients in the study group were treated with PRF on this basis. The bone wall thickness of implant area alveolar bone, absorption of alveolar bone at 6 months after surgery, aesthetic index, aesthetic appearance and alveolar bone density were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the bone wall thickness of alveolar bone at 1,7 and 10 mm of planting area in study group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The aesthetic index score of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The rate of orderly arrangement, complete coverage and normal occlusion in study group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).At 1,3 and 6 months after treatment, the alveolar bone mineral density of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion GBR combined with PRF guided bone regeneration can significantly improve the alveolar ridge bone mass, bone mineral density and aesthetic indexes in patients with anterior tooth defect in aesthetic area, suggesting clinical promotion.
