Application of the Progressive CBD Teaching Model Guided by Integrated Medicine in the Pathophysiology Course
Objective The study aims to investigate the application effect of a progressive case-based discussing(CBD)teaching model guided by integrative medicine in the pathophysiology course. Methods A total of 60 undergraduate students majoring in clinical medicine in 2021 were selected as the research subjects.Random sampling software was utilized to allocate the students into control group(30 students)and experimental group(30 students). The control group followed the traditional teaching method, while the experimental group incorporated the progressive CBD teaching mode alongside the traditional approach. The educational outcomes of both groups were assessed by examining theoretical examination results, conducting colloquiums, and administering questionnaires. Results The experimental group had significantly better theoretical results compared to the control group(P<0.05).Through the symposium and questionnaire,93.3%and 90.0%of the students believe that the teaching method has aroused the students'learning initiative and enhanced their learning interest;90.0%of the students believe that this learning mode can increase the connection between basic knowledge and clinical practice;90.0%of students believe that it can improve students'ability to analyze and solve problems. Conclusion Compared with traditional teaching methods, the integration of medical-oriented progressive CBD teaching mode into the curriculum can enhance autonomous learning and foster students'clinical thinking ability.
