Effect of Yiqi Yangyin Huayu Formula on Endocrine Function and Immune Function of Patients with Thyroid Cancer After Operation
Objective To study the effects of Yiqi Yangyin Huayu Formula on endocrine function and immune function of patients with thyroid cancer after surgery.Methods A total of 60 patients with thyroid cancer treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine from February 2021 to July 2022 after surgery were randomly divided into levothyroxine group(30 cases)and Yiqi Yangyin Huayu group(30 cases).Levothyroxine group was treated with levothyroxine tablets,and on the basis of levothyroxine group,Yiqi Yangyin Huayu group was treated with Yiqi Yangyin Huayu Formula.Both groups were treated for 3 months.The efficacy of the two groups after 3 months of treatment was analyzed,and the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,endocrine function,immune function,serum inflammatory factor level,psychological state and quality of life of the two groups were compared before and after 3 months of treatment.Results After 3 months of treatment,the total effective rate of Yiqi Yangyin Huayu group was higher than that of levothyroxine group(P＜0.05).After 3 months of treatment,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,peripheral blood CD8+level and interleukin-17A(IL-17A)in Yiqi Yangyin Huayu group were lower than before treatment,and lower than levothyroxine group(P＜0.05).Serum levels of free triiodothyronine(FT3),free thyroxine(FT4)and dopamine(DA)in two groups were higher than those before treatment,and those in Yiqi Yangyin Huayu group were higher than levothyroxine group(P＜0.05).Serum levels of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH),interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP),self-rating depression scale(SDS)and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in Yiqi Yangyin Huayu group were lower than levethyroxine group(P＜0.05).The levels of peripheral blood CD3+,CD4+,serum interleukin-10(IL-10)and CD4+/CD8+in Yiqi Yangyin Huayu group were higher than those before treatment,and higher than those in levothyroxine group(P＜0.05).The quality of life score in levothyroxine group was higher than that before treatment,and higher than that in Yiqi Yangyin Huayu group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of Yiqi Yangyin Huayu Formula in the treatment of patients with thyroid cancer after surgery can effectively improve the syndrome of traditional Chinese medicine,endocrine function,improve the immune function,reduce the inflammatory response,improve the psychological state,help maintain the quality of life,and have a good therapeutic effect.
