Effect of Group Positive Psychotherapy on Elderly Patients with Post-stroke Depression at Home
Objective To analyze the effect of group positive psychotherapy on elderly patients with post-stroke depression at home.Methods From January 2019 to August 2021,60 elderly patients with post-stroke depression who were discharged from the Second People's Hospital of Henan Province hospital at home in the hospital were randomly divided into study group and routine group,with 30 cases in each group.The routine group received routine home nursing intervention,and the study group combined with group positive psychotherapy on the basis of the routine group.The results of mini-mental state examination(MMSE)and National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS),psychological status[Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)]score,Hatch hope index(HHI),36-item short form survey(SF-36)scores were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the scores of orientation,language ability,memory,recall ability,attention and calculation ability in the study group were higher than those in the routine group(P<0.05).After intervention,the NIHSS score,HAMA score and HAMD score in the study group were lower than those in the routine group(P<0.05).After the intervention,the HHI score and SF-36 score of the study group were higher than those of the routine group(P<0.05).Conclusion Group positive psychotherapy can improve cognitive function,neurological function,reduce anxiety,depression and other negative emotions of elderly patients with post-stroke depression at home,improve the attitude towards life and improve the quality of life.
