Application of Comprehensive Intervention in Psychological Care of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Infertility Patients Undergoing in Vitrofertilization-Embryo Transfer
Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive intervention in psychological care of infertile patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS)undergoing in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET).Methods A prospective randomized controlled study was conducted on 70 PCOS patients who underwent IVF-ET at Henan Provincial People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023.They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention, while the observation group received comprehensive intervention based on narrative therapy on the basis of the control group. Both groups began intervention during pregnancy assistance and ended at the 37th day after IVF-ET when they returned to the hospital for follow-up.The anxiety and depression status[the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)]and psychological coping strategies(the simple coping style questionnaire)of the two groups were compared before and after the intervention, and the success rate of pregnancy was calculated. Results After intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of both groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05),the positive coping scores of the two groups increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group, while the negative coping scores decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).There were 15 successful pregnancies in the control group(42.86%)and 19 successful pregnancies in the observation group(54.29%).There was no statistical difference in pregnancy success rates between the two groups(x2=0.915,P=0.339).Conclusion A comprehensive intervention based on narrative therapy can alleviate anxiety and depression in patients with PCOS infertility undergoing IVF-ET,promote them to face the disease in a positive manner, and have a definite effect.
