Effect of ECMO Combined with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Machine in Patients with Cardiac Arrest
Objective To analyze the effect of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)in patients with cardiac arrest. Methods A retrospective study was performed on 100 patients with cardiac arrest admitted to Henan Provincial People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022.The patients were divided into groups according to treatment methods. The control group received cardiopulmonary resuscitation machine(50 cases),and the observation group added ECMO(50 cases). The rescue success rate, recovery time of vital signs, blood gas index, and brain function grade were compared. Results The success rate of the observation group was higher than the control group, and the recovery time of vital signs(spontaneous heartbeat, respiration, circulation and blood pressure)was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the central venous oxygen saturation and lactate clearance increased, and the blood lactate level were lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was difference in the grade ratio of brain function between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion ECMO combined with cardiopulmonary resuscitation machine can improve the success rate of cardiac arrest patients, facilitate the recovery of vital signs, and improve the blood gas index and prognosis.
