Application Effect of Stress Inoculation Training in Cancer Patients
Objective To observe of the application effect of stress inoculation training(SIT)in cancer patients.Methods From July 2020 to January 2022,a total of 72 cancer patients who were admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected as study subjects and divided into control(36 cases)and observation(36 cases)groups using a random number table.The control group was given psychological nursing and health education,and on the basis of the same intervention as the control group,the observation group was given stress inoculation training.Before and 3 and 6 months after the intervention,the psychological status and quality of life of the patients in both groups were measured using Chinese version perceived stress scale(CPSS),Connor-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),and the cancer patient quality of life questionnare-core 30(QLQ-C30).Results After 3 months of intervention,the CPSS(36.38±3.72),CD-RISC(56.27±6.64),SDS(39.36±5.30),and QLQ-C30(58.33±5.78)scores of the observation group patients were better than those of the control group[(39.28±3.13),(46.17±4.36),(50.72±7.35),and(67.89±7.32)](P<0.05).In terms of SAS scores,there were no differences between the two groups(P>0.05).Six months after the intervention,there was no difference between the two groups in the scores of each scale(P>0.05).Conclusion Stress inoculation training for cancer patients can improve their perceived stress,psychological resilience,anxiety,depression and quality of life.The effect of stress inoculation training can last for about 3 months.
