Application Effect of Palliative Care Intervention Based on Humanistic Concept in Advanced Breast Cancer Patients
Objective To explore the application effect of palliative nursing intervention based on humanistic concept in patients with advanced breast cancer.Methods A retrospective study was conducted on 82 patients with advanced breast cancer treated in Henan Cancer Hospital from January 2022 to October 2023,who were divided into control group and observation group according to nursing methods,with 41 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received routine nursing and palliative nursing intervention based on the concept of humanism.The incidence of toxicity,visual analogue scale(VAS),general comfort questionnaire(GCQ),Connor-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC),the revised Piper's fatigue scale(RPFS)and quality of life scale of breast cancer(QLSBC)were compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of gastrointestinal reaction[19.51%(8/41)]and decreased hemoglobin[26.83%(11/41)]in observation group were lower than those in control group[41.46%(17/41)and 48.78%(20/41)](P<0.05).After intervention,GCQ score of observation group was higher than that of control group,VAS score was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the body,psychology,belief and social scores in QLSBC and the optimism,strength and tenacity scores in CD-RISC in observation group were higher than those in control group,while the behavioral,cognitive,perceptual and emotional scores in RPFS were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The palliative nursing intervention based on the concept of people can improve the symptoms of advanced breast cancer patients,reduce the risk of toxic side effects,relieve physical pain,improve living comfort,enhance mental resilience,and thus improve the quality of life of patients.
