Value of Risk Management Based on Target Strategy to Reduce the Risk of Falls in Emergency Dizziness Patients
Objective To explore the value of risk management based on target strategy to reduce the risk of falls in emergency dizziness patients. Methods A prospective randomized controlled study was conducted on 86 emergency dizziness patients from March 2021 to March 2023.They were divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention measures, while the observation group received risk management interventions based on target strategies on the basis of the control group. Both groups received continuous intervention for 30 days.Fall risk[Dizziness handicap inventory(DHI),Morse fall risk scale(MFS)],balance ability[mini-balance evaluation systems test(Mini-BESTest),Berg balance scale(BBS)]were compared before and 30 days after intervention. Results After intervention, the DHI and MFS scores of the two groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with a statistical significant difference(P<0.05).After intervention, the mini-BESTest and BBS scores of both groups significantly increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group, with a statistical significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Risk management based on target strategies can effectively improve the balance ability of emergency dizziness patients and reduce the risk of falls.
