Change Trajectory of Maternal Puerperal Fatigue Based on the Latent Variable Growth Mixed Model
Objective To explore the potential categories of maternal fatigue trajectory during puerperium and analyze the influencing factors,so as to provide some reference for the formulation of early targeted fatigue intervention measures. Methods Convenience sampling method was used to select pregnant women who gave birth in Henan Provincial People's Hospital from August 2021 to August 2022 as the research objects.Postpartum fatigue scale was used to evaluate the fatigue status of patients 3,14 and 40-43 days after delivery.Latent variable growth mixed model(LGMM)was used to identify the potential categories of postpartum fatigue in 188 pregnant women, and multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of potential categories. Results Maternal fatigue during puerperium showed a downward trend.Three potential categories were identified by LGMM:low fatigue decline group(26%),high fatigue decline group(44%)and fatigue increase group(30%).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the low fatigue decline group was the reference group, and the pregnant women who chose cesarean delivery and higher social support were more likely to enter the high fatigue decline group. The pregnant women who believed that the infant sleep pattern was a serious problem and the worse the sleep quality were more likely to enter the fatigue increase group. Conclusion The trajectory of postpartum fatigue shows population heterogeneity, suggesting that infant sleep patterns are a serious problem and that postpartum fatigue gradually worsens in women with poor sleep quality.Social support can help alleviate postpartum fatigue.Medical staff should pay attention to postpartum fatigue, especially the evaluation and intervention of fatigue in mothers with poor sleep patterns and poor sleep quality in infants.
