Status and Influencing Factors of the Anesthesia Nurses'Knowledge,Attitude,Practice Towards the Management of Patient Controlled Analgesia in Patients with Postoperative Acute Pain
Objective To explore the knowledge, attitude and practice(KAP)status and influencing factors of the management of patient controlled analgesia(PCA)in patients with postoperative acute pain among anesthesia nurses. Methods From September to October 2022,convenience sampling was used.Anesthesia nurses from 15 Class Ⅱ hospitals and 14 Class Ⅲ hospitals in Henan Province were surveyed by using self-designed general information questionnaire and the self-designed questionnaire to measure the nurses'KAP towards the management of PCA in patients with postoperative acute pain. Results Three hundred and eight anesthesia nurses were surveyed. The scores of overall KAP,knowledge, attitude and practice scores towards PCA management were 175.00(160.25,190.11),40.00(36.00,48.00),68.00(67.00,79.09),67.00(55.64,69.00).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the main influencing factors of the total score of KAP were the frequency of training, education level, whether or not they were specialty nurses, and the presence of acute pain service team(P<0.05).Conclusion Anesthesia nurses have good attitudes towards the management of PCA in patients with postoperative acute pain, but the level of knowledge and practice need to be improved.
