Effect of Fushen Jiangzhuo Capsule Combined with Enteral Nutrition on Chronic Renal Failure with Malnutrition
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of Fushen Jiangzhuo Capsule combined with enteral nutrition in the treatment of chronic renal failure with malnutrition.Methods A total of 152 patients admitted from December 2021 to March 2023 with chronic renal failure and malnutrition were included in this study,they were assigned into control group(76 cases)and observation group(76 cases)according to the random number table method.The control group received conventional treatment and enteral nutrition,while the observation group received Fushen Jiangturuo Capsule in addition to the treatment provided to the control group.The clinical efficacy,levels of inflammatory factors,nutritional indexes in peripheral blood,subjective nutritional status scores and adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups after treatment.Results After 3 months of treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP),and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)decreased in both groups,and the observation group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of hemoglobin(Hb),total serum protein(TP),serum albumin(ALB),serum prealbumin(PA),and transferrin(TRF)increased in both groups,and the observation group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05).The subjective overall assessment(SGA)scores and quality of life measurement scale(WHO-QOL-100)scores of the two groups improved,and the observation group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistically difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Fushen Jiangzhuo Capsules and enteral nutrition is effective in treating chronic renal failure with malnutrition.After treatment,patients'clinical symptoms,immune function,nutritional status,and quality of life are significantly improved,with few adverse reactions and high safety.
