Effect of Medical and Nursing Collaborative Management Model on Elderly Patients with Inhaled Pneumonia and ARDS
Objective To explore the effect of medical and nursing collaborative management model on elderly patients with inhaled pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS).Methods A total of 86 elderly patients with inhalation pneumonia complicated with ARDS who received treatment in Henan Provincial Chest Hospital from June 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group(40 cases)and research group(46 cases)according to nursing plans. The control group received routine nursing care in the respiratory department, while the research group received the medical and nursing cooperative management mode. The respiratory function, nursing quality score, quality of life score before and after intervention, and complications between two groups were compared. Results After intervention, forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1)and FEV1/FVC increased significantly in both groups, and the research group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction of patients in the research group with nursing care was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with before intervention, the generic quality of life inventory-74 scores in all dimensions after intervention of the two groups of patients increased significantly, and the research group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the research group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The medical and nursing collaborative management model can effectively improve the respiratory function of elderly patients with inhaled pneumonia complicated with ARDS,reduce the risk of complications, and improve their quality of life and satisfaction with nursing.
