Expression of Acyl-CoA Thioesterases 11 in Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Its Influence on Proliferation,Migration and Invasion of Cancer Cells
Objective To explore the level of acyl-CoA thioesterases 11(ACOT11)in lung squamous cell carcinoma(LUSC)and observe its effect on biological behaviors of LUSC cells. Methods Quantitative real-time PCR and bioinformatical datasets were employed to examine the expression of ACOT11 in LUSC and paracancerous tissues.Kaplan-Meier was conducted to identify the effect of ACOT11 on prognosis of LUSC patients.NCI-H226 cells,a kind of human LUSC cell line, were divided into OV-ACOT11 and OV-negative control groups.CCK8 and Transwell methods were employed to observe the proliferation, migration and invasion of the cells of two groups. Results The expression of ACOT11 in cancer tissues was higher than that in adjacent tissues(P<0.05).The high expression of ACOT11 was associated with poor prognosis in patients(P<0.05).Overexpression of ACOT11 promotes proliferation, migration, and invasion of LUSC cells(P<0.05).Conclusion ACOT11 is upregulated in LUSC cancer tissue, promoting the proliferation, migration, and invasion of LUSC cells, and facilitating the occurrence and development of LUSC.
