Effect of Botulinum Toxin A,Glycolic Peeling Combined with Intense Pulse Laser on Acne Scars
Objective To explore the effect of botulinum toxin A,glycolic peeling combined with intense pulse laser in the treatment of acne scars and the influence on facial improvement and adverse reactions. Methods A total of 92 patients with acne scars treated in Puyang Second People's Hospital were selected as the study subjects from July 2019 to December 2022,and were divided into observation group(46 cases)and control group(46 cases)by means of simple randomized method. The control group adopted intense pulse laser, and the observation group was combined with botulinum toxin A and glycolic peeling on this basis. The clinical effect[investigator global assessment(IGA)]in the two groups was recorded after 1 month of treatment. The acne scars[Echelle d'evaluation clinique des cicatrices d'acne(ECCA)]and aesthetic effect were compared before treatment and after 2 months of treatment. The occurrence of pain, erythema, edema and other adverse reactions during treatment were recorded in the two groups. Results The effective rate of treatment was higher in observation group than that in control group after 1 month of treatment(P<0.05).The ECCA score and gray difference were decreased in both groups after 2 months of treatment, and the above indicators in observation group were lower(P<0.05).The incidence rates of adverse reactions were not statistically different between groups during treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of botulinum toxin A,glycolic peeling and intense pulse laser can improve the facial symptoms in patients with acne scars, and it has high safety and clinical promotion value.
