Application Effect of Autologous Concentrated Growth Factors in Severe Maxillary Atrophy with Maxillary Sinus Fenestration and Simultaneous Transplantation
Objective To explore the application effect of autologous concentrated growth factor(CGF)in severe maxillary atrophy with maxillary sinus wall fenestration to improve simultaneous transplantation.Methods Eighty-six patients with severe maxillary atrophy seen in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical College from January 2022 to October 2023 were selected as study subjects.They were divided into experimental and conventional groups by computerized random number method,and both groups underwent maxillary sinus floor lateral wall opening and lifting with simultaneous grafting,of which 43 cases in the conventional group(43 grafted teeth)were restored with bone powder,and 43 cases in the experimental group(43 grafted teeth)were restored with bone powder and CGF.The gingival red aesthetic score(PES),periodontal probe depth(PD),occlusal vitality temperature test,bone density and complications were compared between the two groups of patients at 6 months postoperatively.Results The PES scores of the patients in the experimental group were higher than those in the conventional group at 3 and 6 months after surgery(P<0.05).At 6 months after the operation,the PD values of each site of the patients in the two groups were lower than before the operation,and the experimental group was lower than the conventional group(P<0.05).The occlusal temperature test result of the experimental group was better than that of the conventional group(P<0.05).The bone density of the maxillary posterior teeth in the experimental group was higher than that of the conventional group(P<0.05).The difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion CGF is used in the treatment of patients with severe maxillary atrophy who underwent maxillary sinus bottom wall fenestration and simultaneous transplantation,which can effectively improve the sensitivity and aesthetics of the transplanted tooth after surgery,reduce PD and have good safety.
