Influencing Factors and Countermeasures of the Delay of Skin Resection in the First Orthopedic Lumbar Spine Operation in the Operating Room
Objective To explore the factors affecting the time of skin resection in the first orthopedic lumbar spine elective surgery in the operating room,and to construct coping strategies based on these factors,in order to provide reference for improving the operating room efficiency.Methods A total of 84 patients with the first orthopaedic lumbar spine elective surgery in Henan Provincial People's Hospital in March 2023 were selected as the study objects.The reasons for the delay in surgical skin resection were analyzed,and a quality control group was set up to analyze the real causes and formulate and implement countermeasures.After the implementation of countermeasures,the time of the first orthopaedic lumbar spine elective surgery in July 2023 was statistically analyzed.Results The delay rate of the first lumbar spine surgery in March 2023 was 83.33%(70/84),and after improvement,the delay rate of the first lumbar spine surgery in July 2023 was 23.38%(18/77),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion An in-depth analysis of the causes of the delay in the time of excision in orthopaedic lumbar spine elective surgery,the improvement of operating procedures in the operating room and the implementation of meticulous management measures through cross-department cooperation can help reduce the delay in the time of excision and enhance the efficiency of the operating room.
