Expression of TCF21,ANGPT1 and SSTR2 in lung cancer and their combined detection value in predicting recurrence and metastasis after thoracoscopic radical surgery
Objective To investigate the expression and combined detection of transcription factor 21(TCF21),AN-GPT1(ANGPT1)and somatostatin receptor 2(SSTR2)in lung cancer tissues in the prediction of recurrence and metas-tasis after thoracoscopic radical surgery. Methods A total of 265 patients with lung cancer who underwent thoracoscopic radical surgery in our hospital from June 2020 to June 2022(all completed follow-up)were selected as research ob-jects.Postoperative lung cancer tissues and corresponding adjacent tissues were collected and divided into a recurrence and metastasis group(26 cases)and a non-recurrence and metastasis group(239 cases)according to the recurrence and metastasis situation 6 months after surgery. The expression levels of TCF21,ANGPT1 and SSTR2 in lung cancer tis-sues and adjacent tissues and different pathological parameters of lung cancer patients were compared, and the correla-tion between the expression levels of TCF21,ANGPT1 and SSTR2 in cancer tissues and pathological parameters as well as postoperative recurrence and metastasis was analyzed.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis of the combined detection of TCF21,ANGPT1 and SSTR2 expression levels in cancer tissue in the prediction of postoperative recurrence and metastasis of lung cancer patients. Results The expression levels of TCF21 and ANGPT1 in lung cancer tissues were lower than those in paracancer tissues, and the expression levels of SSTR2 were higher than those in para-cancer tissues(P<0.05).The expression levels of TCF21 and ANGPT1 in relapsed and metastatic group were lower than those in non-relapsed and metastatic group, and the expression levels of SSTR2 were higher than those in non-relapsed and metastatic group(P<0.05).The expression levels of TCF21 and ANGPT1 in lung cancer patients with different pathological parameters were higher in stage Ⅰ+Ⅱ than that in stage Ⅲ+Ⅳ,higher in stage+medium dif-ferentiation than that in stage low differentiation, higher in no lymph node metastasis than that in lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).The expression level of SSTR2 in lung cancer patients with different pathological parameters was lower than that in stage Ⅰ+Ⅱ,higher+moderate differentiation was lower than that in stage Ⅲ+Ⅳ,no lymph node metastasis was lower than that in lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).TNM stage, lymph node metastasis, recurrence and metasta-sis were positively correlated with the expression level of TCF21 and ANGPT1,and negatively correlated with the expres-sion level of SSTR2 in lung cancer tissues(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis results showed that the combined expression levels of TCF21,ANGPT1 and SSTR2 in lung cancer tissue predicted the area under the curve(AUC)of recurrence and metastasis after thoracoscopic radical surgery of lung cancer patients was 0.803,and the best prediction sensitivity and specificity were 92.31%and 68.20%,respectively.It was higher than that predicted by single index(P<0.05).Conclusion TCF21,ANGPT1 and SSTR2 are involved in the occurrence and development of lung cancer, and have high efficacy in predicting the risk of recurrence and metastasis in patients with lung cancer after laparoscopic radical surgery.
