Measurement analysis of scientific and technological papers of a tertiary hospital in Henan
Objective Through research on the scientific and technological papers published by Luoyang Orthopedic Hospital(Henan Orthopedic Hospital)in the past 10 years,to explore strategies for improving the hospital's scientific research level.Methods China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)was the main data source,this study ana-lyzed the scientific and technological papers published by Luoyang Orthopedic Hospital(Henan Orthopedic Hospital)from 2013 to 2022,including the number of papers published,the number of funded papers,the number of publications in core journals,the distribution of main topics,the distribution of journals,the distribution of authors,the frequency of citations,and the frequency of downloads.Results From 2013 to 2022,3 873 scientific and technological papers of Luoyang Orthopedic Hospital(Henan Orthopedic Hospital)were published in domestic journals,of which 2 779 papers(71.75％)were published as the first author in Luoyang Orthopedic Hospital,and 1 485 papers(38.34％)were fund-ed;The core journals of Peking University were 468(12.08％).The total number of publications has been fluctuating year by year in the first six years,and has been decreasing year by year in the last four years;In the past decade,the number of funded papers and publications in core journals have shown a steady upward trend.The main topic with the most published papers was clinical observation(222 papers);The journal with the most published papers was the Chinese Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine(46 papers);The author with the most published papers was Liu You-wen(208 pa-pers),of which 44 have been published in core journals.Apart from expert consensus,the most frequently cited paper was"Pathogenesis and Treatment Progress of Knee Osteoarthritis"by Zhang Rong,with a citation frequency of 170 and a download frequency of 4 667;The second was"Research and Analysis of the Chemical Constituents and Pharmacological Effects of Turmeric,Curcuma Curcuma,and Curcuma Curcuma"by Qin Luo-yi,which was cited 97 times and download-ed 3 132 times.Conclusion The scientific research strength of Luoyang Orthopedic Hospital(Henan Orthopedic Hospi-tal)has been increasing year by year.The scientific research management department should introduce corresponding poli-cies,increase corresponding training,and encourage medical personnel to enhance their scientific research awareness.High quality scientific research should drive the publication of high-quality papers,thereby promoting the high-quality development of clinical diagnosis and treatment.
