Qualitative research on psychological experience of patients with coronary heart disease after interventional therapy
Objective To scientifically evaluate the real experience and inner feelings of patients with coronary heart dis-ease after interventional therapy,so as to provide reference for clinical medical staff to carry out targeted intervention.Methods Purposive sampling was used.A total of 14 patients who received interventional therapy in the cardiovascular department of a the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from April to June 2022 were selected for semi-structured interviews.Colaizzi 7-step method was used to analyze,summarize and organize the interview content.Results The experience of patients with coronary heart disease after interventional therapy could be summarized into three themes:① wrong cognition of disease;② changes in lifestyle,worries about job prospects,active and passive al-ienation from former friends;③ coronary heart disease patients'sense of benefit after PCI,expect to get care and support from family,society and medical staff.Conclusion Patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary in-tervention are worried about the future and alienated from social relationships due to personal cognitive errors and lifestyle changes.Clinical medical staff should actively help patients to establish a correct understanding of the disease and estab-lish a supportive environment for medical staff,family and society.In order to achieve the goal of regaining the confi-dence of patients to overcome the disease and reconcile with the disease and themselves.
