Clinical study on treatment of perianal abscess with Chinese herb Sophora Flavescens decoction combined with reducing fumigation and sphincter preservation
Objective To explore the clinical effect of Chinese herb Sophora Flavescens decoction combined with reduc-ing fumigation and sphincter preservation in the treatment of perianal abscess.Methods A total of 100 patients with perianal abscess admitted to the Department of Anorectal,Anyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were randomly divided into two groups,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with sphincter preservation surgery,and the observation group was treated with Chinese herb Sophora Flavescens decoc-tion combined with reducing fumigation based on the control group.The clinical efficacy,pain and wound healing were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate was 96.00％in the observation group and 80.00％in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The VAS scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group at 1,3,5,7 and 14 days after operation(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of symptoms and signs between the two groups on the first day after oper-ation(P＞0.05).The scores of incision secretion,perianal edema and granulation tissue on the seventh day after oper-ation in the two groups were significantly lower than those of the first day after operation in the same group,and those in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P＜0.001).Compared with the control group,the wound shrinkage rate of the observation group was higher on the 14th day after operation,the pus drainage volume was less,and the wound decaying flesh shedding and healing time were shorter(P＜0.001).The incidence of complications was 6.00％in the observation group and 16.00％in the control group,and the difference was no statisti-cally significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion The treatment of perianal abscess with Chinese herb Sophora Flavescens de-coction on the basis of sphincter-preserving surgery has significant clinical efficacy,which can quickly and effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs of the two groups,reduce the pain and reduce the risk of complications,and speed up the wound healing.It is worthy of promotion.
