Diagnostic value of maternal peripheral blood inflammatory markers on fetal lateral ventricle widening
Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of maternal peripheral blood inflammatory markers in fetal lateral ventricular widening. Methods A total of 90 pregnant women with fetal lateral ventricle enlargement(observation group)and normal fetal(control group)were selected from January 2021 to August 2023.The levels of inflammatory markers in peripheral blood were compared between the two groups, and the correlation between inflammatory markers and fetal left/right ventricle diameter was analyzed,as well as the predictive value and risk factors for fetal lateral ventri-cle widening. Results PLT,WBC,NLR,neutrophil and monocyte count in observation group were higher than control group, and lymphocyte percentage was lower than control group.WBC and neutrophils were positively correlated with fe-tal left and right ventricle diameters.Elevated WBC,NLR,PLT,neutrophil and monocyte counts in pregnant women are risk factors for fetal lateral ventricular widening. The critical values of WBC,NLR,PLT,neutrophil and monocyte count were 10.40 x 109/L,5.18,209.50 × 109/L,7.21 × 109/L and 0.67 × 109/L,respectively,and the AUC of the combined model was 0.704,higher than any single variable. Conclusion The levels of peripheral blood inflammatory markers in pregnant women with broadened lateral ventricles are different from those in pregnant women with normal fetu-ses.WBC>10.40 × 109/L,NLR>5.18,PLT>209.50 × 109/L,neutrophil>7.21 × 109/L and monocyte>0.67 × 109/L may be the predictors of fetal lateral ventricular widening.
