Research progress of primary duct closure with biliary stent in laparoscopic common bile duct exploration
With the development of minimally invasive techniques in biliary surgery, laparoscopic choledochotomy and lithotripsy have become the main surgical modality for the treatment of choledochal stones.Choledochotomy for stone ex-traction with T-tube drainage is a commonly used surgical procedure. In recent years, due to the advancement of mini-mally invasive techniques and the popularization of the concept of rapid rehabilitation, primary suture of the common bile duct and primary suture of the common bile duct combined with an endobiliary stent have been gradually applied in cho-ledochotomy and stone extraction. The current issue of which specific closure of the bile duct after biliary exploration is more advantageous is still controversial. In this paper,we review the research background, surgical indications,advan-tages and disadvantages of different bile duct stents, and operation points of the surgical research progress of primary bile duct suture combined with biliary stent in laparoscopic common bile duct exploration.
