Relationship between serum CRP/ALB,HCY/HDL-C and NT-proBNP levels and degree of coronary disease in patients with coronary syndrome
Objective To investigate the relationship between serum C-reactive protein/albumin ratio(CRP/ALB),homocysteine/high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio(HCY/HDL-C),N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide pre-cursor(NT-proBNP)levels and the degree of coronary artery disease in patients with coronary syndrome. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent coronary angiography surgery and were diagnosed with CHD in Henan Veterans Hos-pital from January 2021 to May 2023 were included and divided into mild disease group(score<30),moderate dis-ease group(score 30-60)and severe disease group(score ≥60)according to Gensini scores. The general data,CRP,ALB,HCY,HDL-C and NT-proBNP levels of patients in each group were compared, and CRP/ALB,HCY/HDL-C were calculated to analyze the influencing factors of severe coronary artery lesions, and ROC curves were drawn to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of each factor. Results In the comparison of CRP,CRP/ALB,HCY,HCY/HDL-C and NT-proBNP levels, mild lesion group<moderate lesion group<severe lesion group(P<0.05),but in the comparison of ALB level, mild lesion group>moderate lesion group>severe lesion group(P<0.05).CRP,CRP/ALB,HCY,HCY/HDL-C and NT-proBNP were positively correlated with Gensini integrals(P<0.05),and ALB was negatively correlated with Gensini integrals(P<0.05).The levels of CRP,CRP/ALB,HCY,HCY/HDL-C and NT-proBNP were lower in the non-severe disease group those of the severe disease group(P<0.05),but the level of ALB in the non-severe disease group was higher than those of the severe disease group(P<0.05).logistic regression analysis found that CRP/ALB,HCY/HDL-C and NT-proBNP were risk factors for severe coronary artery lesions(P<0.05).The AUC values of CRP/ALB,HCY/HDL-C and NT-proBNP in the diagnosis of severe coronary le-sions were 0.817,0.821 and 0.825,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion CRP/ALB,HCY/HDL-C,and NT-proBNP may be risk factors for severe coronary artery lesions in patients with coronary syndrome, and the more severe the coronary artery lesions, the higher the level of CRP/ALB,HCY/HDL-C,and NT-proBNP in patients.
