Non invasive high-frequency oscillatory ventilation combined with pulmonary surfactant therapy observation on therapeutic effect of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of non-invasive high-frequency oscillatory ventilation(nHFV)combined with porcine pulmonary surfactant(PS)treatment in children with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome. Methods Totally 120 samples of NRDS patients admitted to Zhoukou Central Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group of 60 cases and a control group of 60 cases according to different treatment methods. All observation group children were treated with nHFV combined with PS,while the control group with re-spiratory distress were treated with nasal continuous positive pressure ventilation(nCPAP)combined with PS.Compare the clinical treatment efficacy, blood gas indicators(pH,arterial oxygen partial pressure PO2,PO2,FiO2,OI),and incidence of complications between two groups of children. Results The total effective rate of 60 newborns with respiratory distress in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(78%<93%).Through treatment, the blood gas indi-cators of 60 children in the observation group showed that PO2 was higher than the control group, while PO2,FiO2,and OI were lower than the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was a sig-nificant difference in the incidence of complications such as pneumonia,BPD,air leakage,NEC,intracranial hemorrhage, and pulmonary hemorrhage between the two groups of children(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of nHFV combined with PS treatment in children with NRDS is significant, which can effectively improve the treatment effect of NRDS,improve arterial blood gas indicators and hypoxia symptoms in children, reduce the incidence of complications, effectively shorten oxygen use time and hospitalization time, and save hospitalization costs.
