Application of intramedullary nail fixation in treatment of long bone trauma fracture of extremities
Objective The application of intramedullary nailing in treatment of traumatic fracture of long bone in limbs and the effect of treatment were analyzed. Methods Totally 104 patients with long bone trauma fractures in the limbs from February 2017 to February 2021 were selected as the study subjects, and randomly divided into two groups with 52 patients in each group. The control group was treated with steel plate and screw internal fixation, while the study group was treated with intramedullary nail fixation technology.Compare the clinical efficacy, surgical recovery, bone metabolism level, and in-flammatory factor status between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate reflected the curative effect, the ob-servation group(82.69%)was better than that of the control group(69.23%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The operation time, bleeding content, length of surgical incision, and time of fracture healing in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);After treatment, bone metabolism levels improved in both groups; The levels of PICP and BGP in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of CRP,TNF-α and IL-1 were decreased in the same group before and after treatment, but the difference between the two groups was significant after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion Intramedullary nail fixation technology can improve the treatment effect of patients with long bone trauma fractures in the limbs, reduce surgical trauma, improve bone metabo-lism levels, and reduce inflammatory factor levels, which is worth promoting and applying.
