Risk factors of pulmonary fungal infection in pulmonary tuberculosis patients based on logistic regression analysis
Objective To explore the risk factors of pulmonary fungal infection in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis based on logistic regression. Methods Totally 80 pulmonary tuberculosis patients admitted to Henan Chest Hospital from January 2021 to October 2023 were taken as the research objects, and their clinical data were collected and ana-lyzed retrospectively.Patients were divided into infected group(n=24)and non-infected group(n=56)according to whether pulmonary fungal infection occurred. The risk factors of pulmonary fungal infection in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis were discussed by single factor and logistic regression analysis. Results In this study, the incidence of pul-monary fungal infection was 30.00%,and 78 strains of fungi were isolated and discharged, among which the highest proportion was Candida albicans(42.65%),followed by Candida tropicalis(20.59%)and Candida glabrata(17.65%).Logistic regression analysis showed that, more than 5 years, treatment of tuberculosis, history of invasive operation,long-term use of glucocorticoids and broad-spectrum antibiotics, positive sputum smear, diabetes,COPD and other basic diseases, and low serum albumin level were all independent risk factors for pulmonary fungal infection in patients with tuberculosis(all P<0.05).Conclusion Candida albicans is the main fungal type of pulmonary tuberculo-sis complicated with pulmonary fungal infection.Coping with COPD,diabetes, retreatment of pulmonary tuberculosis, long course of disease, invasive operation, low serum albumin level, positive sputum smear and long-term use of broad-spectrum antibiotics and glucocorticoids will obviously increase the risk of pulmonary fungal infection in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, which needs clinical attention.
