Efficacy and safety analysis of microwave ablation combined with systemic chemotherapy for liver metastasis after radical resection of colorectal cancer
Objective To retrospectively analyze the effect and safety of microwave ablation combined with systemic chem-otherapy in treating liver metastasis after radical resection of colorectal cancer. Methods Retrospective analysis of the on-cology and interventional clinic of Inner Mongolia autonomous region people's hospital from Jan.2020 to Dec.2022 rectal cancer radical postoperative patients with abnormal liver metastasis, according to the conditions of microwave ablation and systemic chemotherapy, they were randomly divided into reference group and combined group, each group random cases 14,a total of 28 cases. In the reference group, the patients were treated by chemotherapy from the department of oncology, while in the combined group, the tumor intervention after two cycles of systemic intravenous chemotherapy, was used to ob-serve the prognosis effect of the patients. Results In terms of the efficacy of postoperative disease control, the combination and reference groups were 78.57%and 50%,and the condition control was more stable, and the data difference was sta-tistically significant(P<0.05).Combination group of postoperative adverse reactions:2 cases of leukopenia, the total in-cidence of diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting was 14.29%(3/14);reference group:1 case of leukopenia,1 case of diarrhe-a,nausea,and vomiting, the total incidence was 21.43%(2/14),the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Patients with liver metastasis after radical resection of colorectal cancer are combined with microwave ablation, effectively alleviating clinical signs, with high effectiveness and safety, and high recommended value.
