Evaluation of curative effect of Bixie Qianlie An pill combined with conventional therapy on kidney deficiency and heat dampness and blood stasis syndrome type ⅢB prostatitis
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Bixie Qianlie An pill combined with conventional therapy on renal deficiency,dampness and blood stasis syndrome type Ⅲ B prostatitis.Methods A total of 130 patients were ran-domly assigned to two groups using the random number table method.The observation group(n=65,5 cases dropped out and 60 cases completed)and the control group(n=65,6 cases dropped out and 59 cases completed).The control group received conventional treatment with oral tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained-release capsule.The observation group was treated with Bixie Qianlie An pill on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The clinical effi-cacy,chronic prostatitis symptom score index(NIH-CPSI),traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,and prostatic fluid lipoprotein count were used to evaluate the therapeutic effect.Results The observation group demonstrated a high-er total effective rate compared to the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).Following treat-ment,the NIH-CPSI pain score,NIH-CPSI quality of life score,NIH-CPSI total score,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of both groups decreased significantly(P＜0.05).However,the improvement observed in the obser-vation group was more significant than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Bixie Qianlie An pill combined with conventional treatment can improve the clinical symp-toms,improve the quality of life and enhance the clinical efficacy of patients with type Ⅲ B prostatitis with kidney defi-ciency,damp-heat and blood stasis.
