Study on therapeutic effect of Xiaoyao powder combined with Huatan Tongluo decoction and duloxetine hydrochloride tablets in patients with depression
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of Xiaoyao powder combined with Huatan Tongluo decoction and duloxetine hydrochloride tablets in patients with depression.Methods A total of 62 patients with depression who visited the Fifth Peoples Hospital of Kaifeng City from January 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects.All of them met the diagnostic criteria for clinical depression and were at least 18 years old.31 patients hospitalized before July 2022 who were treated with duloxetine hydrochloride tablets were included in the control group,and 31 patients hospitalized after July 2022 who were treated with Xiaoyao powder,Huatan Tongluo decoction plus duloxetine hydrochloride tablets were included in the observation group.The therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared.Results The total effec-tive rate of observation group(93.55％)was significantly higher than that of control group(74.19％)(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the scores of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes,hamilton depression scale(HAMD),the somatization part of the symptom checklist-90(SCL-90),the pittsburgh sleep quali-ty index(PSQI),and the levels of interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α),brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),and fibroblast growth factor 22(FGF-22)between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,TCM syndrome score,HAMD,SCL-90,PSQI score,IL-6,TNF-α,BDNF,FGF-22 level and IL-4 level were lower in observation group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The clinical treatment of depression patients with Xiaoyao powder Huatan Tongluo decoction combined with duloxetine hydrochloride tablets has significant effects,can effectively regulate the body's inflammatory response and bio-chemical indicators and clinical symptoms and sleep quality.
