Effect of enema combined with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets on patients with ulcerative colitis and its effect on platelets and coagulation function and inflammatory factors
Objective To discuss the therapeutic effect of enema combined with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets in the treatment of ulcerative colitis and the effects on platelets,coagulation function and inflammatory factors.Methods A total of 118 patients with ulcerative colitis admitted to the Department of Anorectal of Nanyang Central Hospital were selected as subjects of this study.The patients were included from August 13,2021 to August 13,2022.According to the treatment methods,the patients were divided into two groups with 59 patients in each group,and the groups were named ordinary group and mixed group respectively.Patients in the normal group were treated with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets oral-ly.Patients in the mixed group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine enema combined with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets.Finally,the efficacy,coagulation function and platelet indexes,inflammatory factor levels,quality of life,colonoscopy score and intestinal mucosal barrier function indexes of the two groups were compared respectively.Results The effective rate of the common group was 83.05％,lower than that of the mixed group(98.31％).The plas-ma fibrinogen(Fib)and platelet count(PLT)indexes of mixed group were significantly better than those of normal group;tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α),interleukin8(IL-8)and 6(IL-6)indexes in mixed group were better than those in normal group.The colonoscopy scores and intestinal mucosal barrier function indexes of mixed group were better than those of common group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of patients with ulcerative colitis can significantly improve the efficacy,improve the platelet and coagulation function,reduce the level of inflammatory factors,and improve the intestinal mucosal barrier function.The effect is signif-icant,which is worthy of long-term clinical promotion and use.
