Analysis of correlation between mycoplasma antibody titer and myocardial damage in mycoplasma pneumonia
Objective To investigate the correlation between myocardial damage and mycoplasma antibody titer in myco-plasma pneumonia. Methods 120 children with mycoplasma pneumonia admitted to the Department of Pediatrics of Nanyang Second General Hospital from September 2020 to September 2021 were enrolled in this study. The titer level of mycoplasma antibody MP-igm was detected in 62 cases in the high titer group(MP-igm titer>1∶160)and 58 cases in the low titer group(MP-igm titer ≤1∶160).60 healthy children who examination physical underwent during the same period in Nanyang Second General Hospital were selected as the group control to compare the levels of myocardial enzymes in the three groups. Results High titer creatine kinase(CK),creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)and α-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase(HBDH)levels were(218.63±17.24)IU/L,(85.34±14.21)IU/L,(315.68±54.62)IU/L and(296.35±42.29)IU/L,respectively.All of them were higher than those in low titer group[(120.62±18.20)IU/L,(34.19±7.65)IU/L,(201.63±41.22)IU/L and(235.26±28.55)IU/L](P<0.05).CK,CK-MB,LDH and HBDH in high titer group and low titer group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The positive rates of CK,CK-MB,LDH and HBDH in high titer group were 69.35%,77.42%,62.90%and 69.35%,respectively,which were significantly higher than those in low titer group. The incidence of abnormal ECG in the high titer group was 45.16%,which was significantly higher than that in the low titer group(10.34%)(P<0.05).Conclusion Children with MPP are more prone to myocardial damage, and the degree of myocardial damage is positively correlated with the titer of MP-IgM.For children with MPP with high titer of MP-IgM,myocardial enzyme detection and electrocardiogram scanning should be carried out early,so as to a-chieve scientific and effective treatment as soon as possible and improve the prognosis.
