Research on balanced balance of health human resources configuration based on Dagum Gini coefficient and Kernel density estimation
Objective To analyze the balance of health and manpower allocation in Henan Province and propose rational policy recommendations. Methods Used Dagum Gini coefficient and Kernel density analysis to examine the balance and dynamic changes of health workforc, based on data of human resources for health in Henan Province between 2018 and 2022.Results There was a certain gap in the allocation level of health human resources in Henan Province from 2018 to 2022,and the gap was narrowing. The Gini coefficient of health personnel per thousand population has decreased from 0.072 to 0.047,and the Gini coefficient of health personnel per square kilometer has decreased from 0.319 to 0.314.The overall gap was mainly caused by regional disparities. The growth rate of health human resources in eastern and western Henan was fast, and the gap was narrowing year by year. The growth rate in southern Henan is fast, and the gap was increasing year by year. The growth rate in central Henan was slow and the gap was large, while the growth rate in northern Henan was slow and the gap was increasing. Conclusion Henan Province's health personnel generally show a balanced trend. The problem of uneven health and human imbalance between regions should be paid to the problem of rising health and human balance indexes in the region, and a real-time monitoring system should be established.
