Observation of clinical effect and quality of life of breast cancer treated by single aperture endoscopic surgery
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of single-aperture endoscopic surgery for breast cancer and its in-fluence on the quality of life of patients. Methods The clinical data of 58 patients with breast cancer in our hospital from April to October 2020 were retrospectively analyzed and followed up 6 months after surgery. The patients were divided into groups according to different surgical methods:30 patients who underwent traditional breast cancer surgery were the control group;the experimental group consisted of 28 patients who underwent single-hole endoscopic surgery. The operation con-ditions of the two groups were compared:intraoperative blood loss, incision length, operation time, hospital stay, etc.Meanwhile, the quality of life 6 months after operation was compared between the two groups. Results Comparing the sur-gical related indicators between two groups, the laparoscopic group had a surgical time of(230.89±81.77)minutes,while the conventional group had a surgical time of(134.17±70.48)minutes.The laparoscopic group had an incision length of(3.79±0.79)cm,while the conventional group had an incision length of(14.83±0.87)cm.The intraopera-tive blood loss in the laparoscopic group was(14.11±3.86)ml,while the conventional group had an intraoperative blood loss of(36.17±7.03)ml.The laparoscopic group had a hospital stay of(11.14±1.84)days,while the conventional group had a hospital stay of(13.20±2.88)days.The differences in extubation time were statistically significant(P<0.05);Six months after surgery, the quality of life of the two groups of patients was compared. The physiological status of the laparoscopic group was(7.86±1.94),while that of the conventional group was(13.77±1.96).The emo-tional status of the laparoscopic group was(7.18±3.84),while that of the conventional group was(11.4±3.65).There were statistically significant differences in the scores of functional status and additional status dimensions(P<0.05).Conclusion Breast cancer surgery under single hole endoscopy can not only guarantee the complete resection of tumor, but also reduce the length of surgical incision, reduce the amount of blood loss, effectively shorten the hospital stay and ex-tubation time, increase the aesthetic feeling, and improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients.
