Influencing factors of pregnancy stress in elderly pregnant women with gestational diabetes during pregnancy
Objective To investigate the pregnancy stress of the elderly pregnant women with gestational diabetes during pregnancy and analyze the possible influencing factors of pregnancy stress. Methods Totally 110 elderly pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)during pregnancy in the Anyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital during April 2022 and April 2024 were selected. The pregnancy pressure scale(PPS)was used to assess the pregnancy pressure of the elderly pregnant women with GDM.The baseline data of GDM pregnant women with advanced maternal age were designed to fill in the table and make statistics. The influencing factors of pregnancy pressure of GDM pregnant women with advanced maternal age were analyzed by multiple linear regression. Results A total of 110 survey question-naires were distributed and 110 valid questionnaires were collected, with an effective response rate of 100.00%.After evaluation, the PPS score range of 110 elderly women with recurrent GDM was 31-56 points, with an average of(46.52±4.06),overall at a moderate level.Expected male fetuses, low social support, and the presence of other pregnancy complications may be the influencing factors for higher PPS scores in older women with recurrent GDM(P<0.05).There was no significant effect on the PPS score of elderly GDM pregnant women who had given birth a-gain,including different gestational weeks, parity, history of previous miscarriages, education level, occupational sta-tus,long-term residence, and annual family income(P>0.05).Through multiple linear regression analysis, the re-sults showed that susceptible personality traits, expected male fetuses, low social support, and the presence of other pregnancy complications may all be influencing factors for high pregnancy pressure in older women with recurrent GDM(P<0.05).Conclusion Elderly pregnant women with GDM generally have moderate levels of pregnancy stress.Preg-nant women with susceptible personality traits, expected male fetuses, low social support, and comorbidities during preg-nancy may have higher levels of pregnancy stress.Clinical intervention for these types of women should be emphasized.
