Therapeutic effect of sublingual analgesia with fentanyl solution and oral morphine syrup on sudden pain in patients with chronic gynecological cancer pain
Objective Exploring the therapeutic effects of sublingual fentanyl solution and oral morphine syrup on sudden pain in patients with chronic gynecological cancer pain. Methods From January 2022 to June 2023,totally 94 patients with chronic gynecological cancer pain in the Pingmei Shenma Medical Group General Hospital were selected and divided into a control group(47 cases, oral morphine syrup)and a study group(47 cases, sublingual fentanyl solution analgesia)using a random number table method. The numerical rating scale(NRS),pain mediators, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results Overall, the time points and interactions(time points and interactions)of NRS scores were statistically significant(P<0.05);LSD-t showed that compared with before treatment, the NRS scores of the two groups decreased at 5 minutes,15 minutes,30 minutes,45 minutes,60 minutes, and 120 minutes after treat-ment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the NRS score of the study group was lower at 5 minutes after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the NRS score of the study group was higher at 45 minutes,60 minutes, and 120 minutes after treatment, the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).Compared to before treatment,at the end of treatment in both groups β-Endorphin(β-EP)in-creased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),while prostaglandin E2(PGE2)and substance P(SP)decreased, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)at the end of treatment in both groups.Compared with the control group, the study group showed a decrease in prostaglandin E2(PGE2)and substance P(SP)at the end of treatment β-EB was higher, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),while PGE2 and SP were lower, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)in the study group at the end of treatment.Compared with the control group, the incidence of nausea, drowsiness, and constipation was lower in the study group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with oral morphine syrup, sublingual fentanyl solution can alleviate early sudden pain with fewer adverse reactions. In the absence of fast acting fentanyl preparations, sublingual fentanyl solution can be considered clinically for the treatment of sudden pain.
