Low-dose alteplase combined with butylphthalide in treatment of acute ischemic stroke
Objective To observe the efficacy of low-dose alteplase(rt-PA)combined with butylphthalide(NBP)in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke(AIS).Methods A total of 110 AIS patients admitted to the Zhoukou First People's Hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected, and the patients were divided into two groups using a ran-dom number table method. In the clinical medication regimen,AIS group 1(n=55)was given a low dose rt-PA com-bined with NBP treatment,AIS 2 group(n=55)to receive standard dose of rt-PA combined with NBP treatment. The incidence of intracranial hemorrhage, the rate of neurological deterioration within 72 h,and the incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups. The improvement of neurological deficit score(NIHSS score),self-care ability(BI index),and serum inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results There was no significant difference in the incidence of intracranial hemorrhage, the rate of neurological deteriora-tion within 72 h,and the incidence of adverse events between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05);after treatment, the two groups'NIHSS score and inflammatory factor levels were lower than that before treatment, the BI index was higher than that before treatment, and the NIHSS score of AIS 1 group was lower than that of AIS 2,the difference was statistical-ly significant(P<0.05);after treatment, there was no statistical difference in the levels of inflammatory factors and BI index between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion In the clinical treatment plan of AIS patients,low-dose rt-PA combined with NBP treatment can reduce neurological damage and reduce inflammation. The prognostic effect is equivalent to the standard-dose rt-PA combined with NBP treatment plan, and low-dose rt-PA combined with NBP treatment has better neuroprotective effect, and its clinical application value is more significant.
