Evaluation of the efficacy and long-term efficacy of Bicon short implant implantation in bone deficient posterior dental area
Objective To investigate the bone insufficient mass in the posterior dental with application of Bicon region short implant, and to observe its implant restoration and long-term effect. Methods Totally 50 patients who underwent implant repair in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects.A total of 72 implants were implanted, all of which were phase Ⅰ implant. The phase Ⅱ surgery was performed 3-6 months after implantation, and the permanent fixed repair was performed within 2 to 3 weeks.Implant status was followed up,and the crown-implant height ratio(C/I)and implant status(number of implants and success rate)of patients were observed. The borderline bone height absorption of 50 patients was analyzed.Analysis of the effect of implantation after 1 year of treatment. Results Among the 50 patients,a total of 72 implants were implanted, and the implant effect was good. All the implants were followed up for 1 year,a total of 72 implants were implanted,2 were loose, and the implantation success rate was 97.22%.Patients with C/I ranged from 0.79 to 1.71,with an average of(1.25±0.43);17 patients with C/I≤1,with an average of(0.61±0.21),accounted for 23.61%;55 patients with C/I>1,with an average of(0.63±0.19),accounted for 76.39%,compared between the two items(P>0.05).Twelve months after implantation,1 case of gingival swelling and pain and 3 cases of abasement loosening occurred, with an incidence of 8.00%.Conclusion Bicon short implant has good implant repair effect and long-term effect in the posterior dental ar-ea with insufficient bone mass, and its implantation success rate is high, which reduces the surgical risk and incidence of adverse effects, helps shorten the repair time, improves the long-term prognosis, and can be clinically promoted and applied.
