Prescription audit and practice of non-aspirin non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
Objective To establish the rules for the prescription review of non-aspirin non-steroidal anti-inflamma-tory drugs,and to improve the effectiveness of prescription audit by means of information technology.Methods Based on diagnosis and treatment guidelines,clinical pathways and professional literature,and combined with clinical drug use experience,the prescription review rules of non-aspirin non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs were sorted out from six aspects of drug indications,usage and dosage,route of administration,special population,repeated drug use,and drug conscription,and revised in clinical pharmacy practice.Information system was used to conduct graded manage-ment of prescription problems.Results Formulate 254 prescription review rules of non-aspirin non-steroid anti-in-flammatory drugs.The screening data of unreasonable problems in different modes were compared,among which 16 types of problems were detected in the conventional mode,accounting for 0.75％.After the rules,the audit mode screened 6 types of problems,a total of 213 problems,accounting for 9.03％,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.01).Conclusion Pharmacists can Improve the efficiency of prescription audit and give full play to the value of pharmacists by use information technology.
