Analysis of value of glycated serum protein and glycated hemoglobin combined with CA199 in early diagnosis of type Ⅱ diabetes mellitus
Objective To analyze the value of glycated serum protein(GSP),glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c),and carbo-hydrate antigen 199(CA199)in the early diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods In this study,106 pa-tients with T2DM treated in Kaifeng Central Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were included as the observation group, and 50 healthy subjects were included as the control group during the same period.Fasting venous blood of all sub-jects was collected in the morning to detect GSP,HbA1c,and CA199 levels. The relationship between GSP,HbA1c,and CA199 levels and the occurrence and development of T2DM was explored, and the early diagnostic value of the three inde-xes in T2DM was analyzed. Results Compared with control group, the levels of GSP,HbA1c,and CA199 in observation group were significantly increased(P<0.05).The patients in observation group were divided into uncomplicated group and complication group according to whether they had complications or not. There were 59 cases in non-complication group and 47 cases in complication group.Compared with the non-complication group, the levels of GSP,HbA1c,and CA199 in the complication group were significantly increased(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that GSP level was significantly positively correlated with HbA1c level in the observation group(r=0.341,P=0.043).GSP level was positively correlated with CA199 level(r=0.515,P=0.036).HbA1c level was positively correlated with CA199 lev-el(r=0.374,P=0.027).The area under the curve of GSP,HbA1c,and CA199 in predicting early T2DM was 0.977(P<0.05),with the sensitivity of 90.57%and the specificity of 94.00%,and the 95%confidence interval was 0.9585-0.9963,which was better than any single index. Conclusion The combined detection of GSP,HbA1c,and CA199 had ideal application value in the early diagnosis and disease monitoring of T2DM.
