Clinical value of serum miR-155,miR-197,and miR-183 in diagnosis and disease assessment of lung cancer
Objective To analyze the value of serum microRNA-155(miR-155),miR-197,and miR-183 in aux-iliary diagnosis and disease assessment of lung cancer.Methods Ninety-two patients with lung cancer admitted to Xinxiang Central Hospital from March 2019 to June 2023 were included in the observation group,and 50 healthy sub-jects were included in the control group during the same period.Serum levels of miR-155,miR-197,and miR-183 were determined by RT-qPCR.Pearson correlation coefficient was used to analyze the correlation of serum indicators,and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of serum indicators in lung cancer.Results The serum levels of miR-155,miR-197,and miR-183 in control group were(15.92±2.54),(182.33±35.71),and(2.81±0.93),respectively.The serum levels of miR-155,miR-197,and miR-183 in observation group were(20.59±3.82),(386.37±50.46),and(4.88±1.35),respectively.Compared with the control group,the serum levels of miR-155,miR-197,and miR-183 in observation group were significantly in-creased(P<0.05).By Pearson correlation analysis,there were significant positive correlations between serum miR-155,miR-197,and miR-183 levels in lung cancer patients(P<0.05).The area under curve of the combined diag-nosis of serum miR-155,miR-197,and miR-183 for lung cancer was 0.976(P<0.001),with the sensitivity of 96.74%and the specificity of 92.00%,and the 95%confidence interval was 0.9526-0.9996,which was better than any single index.Serum levels of miR-155,miR-197,and miR-183 increased step by step with the progression of stages.Conclusion Serum miR-155,miR-197,and miR-183 had certain clinical values in the auxiliary diagnosis and disease assessment of lung cancer,and were worthy of clinical promotion and application.
