Clinical study on the treatment of children's bronchiolitis obliterans with"Wenfei Huatan Yin"
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of"Wenfei Huatan Yin"in the treatment of mild and moderate yang deficiency Bronchiolitis obliterans in children.Methods From January 2020 to June 2023,a total of 64 children with mild and moderate Yang deficiency syndrome bronchiolitis obliterans who were treated at the Pediatric De-partment of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of CM and Henan Children Hospital were recruited and ran-domly divided into the treatment group and the control group,with 32 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with"Wenfei Huatan Yin"plus conventional Western medicine,while the control group was treated with conventional Western medicine for 30 days.The total scores of clinical symptoms and the symptom scores including cough,wheeze and sputum volume,the time of disappearance of Pulmonary Rales,pulmonary function tests(FEV1,FEV1FVC,MMEF)and percutaneous Oxygenation were observed before and after treatment.Results In the end,60 eligible cases were included in the two groups,30 cases in the treatment group and 30 cases in the control groupo The total effective rate was 86.66％(26/30)in the treatment group and 76.66％(23/30)in the control group.The treatment group was superior to the control group(P＜0.05).The treatment group was superior to the con-trol group in improving cough,wheezing,sputum volume,fa-tigue,shortness of breath,disappearance of Rales and improve-ment of percutaneous Oxygenation in both groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion The modified prescription of"Wenfei Huatan Yin"can obviously improve the clinical symptoms such as cough,wheezing and sputum Bronchiolitis obliterans,and the Pulmonary Rales disappear,it can improve the quality of life,the prognosis of the Oxygenation,and it is safe and reliable.It can reduce the economic and mental burden of the family,it is worthy of further promotion and application.
