Research progress on resource utilization of plastic waste
With the increasing demand for quality of life,the use of plastic resources has also risen.Currently,the large amount of discarded plastics and low recycling rates have made the management and utilization of plastic waste an important issue in the global fields of environmental protection and sustainable development.This study provides an overview of the characteristics,classification,sources,and composition of plastics,as well as an overview of the current physical,chemical,and biological treatment technologies for plastic waste.It also summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of various treatment methods.And listed advanced cases of innovative resource utilization technology.Measures to strengthen the resource utilization of plastic waste have been proposed,and relevant policies and regulations need to be further formulated and improved to further enhance public awareness of environmental protection.
