Effects of exercise guidance based on failure mode and effect analysis model in the pa-tients with cancer complicated with diabetes
Objective To explore the effects of exercise guidance based on failure mode and effect analysis(FMEA)model in patients with cancer and diabetes.Methods A total of 80 patients with cancer complicated with diabe-tes admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2022 to December 2023 were randomly di-vided into two groups by random number table method.The 40 patients in the control group received the routine nursing,and 40 patients in the experimental group received the exercise guidance based on FMEA model.The blood glucose,bal-ance function and activities of daily living were compared between the two groups.Results After 12 weeks of intervention,the fasting blood glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose levels in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(t=3.552,P=0.001;t=4.027,P<0.001).The balance function score in the experimental group was high-er than that in the control group(t=3.105,P=0.003).The scores of physical self-care ability,instrumental activities of daily living ability and total scores of activities of daily living ability in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(Z=3.452,P=0.001;t=3.816,P<0.001;t=4.850,P<0.001).Conclusion Exercise guidance based on FMEA model can reduce blood glucose level,improve balance function and enhance the ability of daily living in pa-tients with cancer and diabetes.
