Content of Mineral Elements of Tianma (Gastrodia Elata) by Principal Components Analysis
Objective:To determine the mineral elements content in Tianma (Gastrodia Elata) from different regions at Pingwu of Sichuan, analyze its characteristic element and composite scores, and ascertain the characteristic of geographical distribution,in order to provide the theory basis for exploitation and utilization of resources and quality control. Methods:The DRC-E was used to determine the mineral elements content indifferent regions in Tianma (Gastrodia Elata) from different regions, and the data is analyzed by principal component analysis method and clustering method. Results:The content of mineral elements are different in 12 regions, and the content of Cu and Zn is higher than others. There is a certain relationship with 6 mineral elements; The Ni and Cu,and Zn and Cu show very significant positive correlation, and the Cr and V shows significant negative correlation relationship. The cumulative contribution rate of the three principal components by PCA is 90.973%;The first principal component is 43.790%,including Ni,Cu and Zn.The 12 regions were divided into 4 categories by clustering method. Conclusion:Characteristic elements of Tianma (Gastrodia Elata) is Ni,Cu and Zn.Tianma (Gastrodia Elata) minerals composite scores in villages of Suojiang,Mupi and Bazi in Pingwu are higher than others. There are different mineral elements content in different regions. This is closely related with altitude.
