Effect of Bushen Huoxue Recipe(补肾活血方)on Endometrial Stem Cell Markers in Patients with Severe Intrauterine Adhesions
Objective:To investigate the effect of Bushen Huoxue Recipe on the expression of endometrial stem cell markers in patients with severe intrauterine adhesions.Methods:70 patients with severe intrauterine adhesions were randomly divided into two groups:the control group and the treatment group,35 cases in each.The control group was treated with Estradiol valerate and didrogestrel,while the treatment group received oral treatment with Bushen Huoxue Recipe.Both groups were treated for 3 menstrual cycles.Hysteroscopy was performed routinely after surgery,and the expression of stem cell markers in endometrial tissue between the two groups before and after intervention with traditional Chinese medicine were compared.Results:After treatment,the American Reproductive Society(AFS)scores of both groups significantly decreased,and the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the expression of β-catenin protein,CD34 protein,ABG2 protein,and Oct-4 gene in both groups of patients was higher than before treatment(P＜0.05),and the expression of these indicators in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group after treatment(P＜0.01).Conclusion:Bushen Huoxue Recipe can improve the prognosis of postoperative uterine adhesions,and its therapeutic effect is superior to the use of estrogen and progesterone alone.Bushen Huoxue Recipe can increase the expression of β-catenin protein,CD34 protein,ABG2 protein,and Oct-4 gene,it may affect the expression of endometrial stem cells by regulating the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.
