0bservation on the Clinical Effect of Modified Umbilical Moxibustion combined with Sequential Application on Anorexia in Children with Spleen-qi Deficiency Syndrome
Objective:To explore and analyze the clinical effect of modified umbilical moxibustion combined with sequential application on anorexia in children with spleen-qi deficiency syndrome. Methods:A total of 120 children with anorexia admitted to our hospital from February 2019 to March 2022 were randomly divided into 3 groups, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with anorexia patch with traditional Chinese medicine, the treatment group A was treated with traditional diaphragm umbilical moxibustion on the basis of the control group, while the treatment group B was treated with modified diaphragm umbilical moxibustion, and the course is 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy, major symptom points and minor symptom points before and after treatment of the three groups were compared, and the recurrence rates of the three groups at 4 weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks after treatment were observed. Results:The total clinical effective rates of treatment group B,treatment group A,and control group were 95.00%(38/40),80.00%(32/40),and 62.5%(25/40),respectively.The total clinical effective rates of treatment group B were higher than those of treatment group A and control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the main symptom score and secondary symptom score of the three groups of children decreased compared to before treatment. The main symptom score and secondary symptom score of the treatment group B were lower than those of the treatment group A and the control group. The main symptom score and secondary symptom score of the treatment group A were lower than those of the control group after treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At a follow-up of 8 weeks, the recurrence rate of Group B[2.50%(1/40)]was lower than that of the control group[20.00%(8/40)].At a follow-up of 12 weeks, the recurrence rate of Group B[2.50%(1/40)]was lower than that of Group A[17.50%(7/40)]and the control group[30.00%(12/40)],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of modified diaphragm umbilical moxibustion and sequential application can achieve significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of pediatric anorexia(spleen-qi deficiency syndrome),promote the improvement of clinical symp-toms and signs in children, and effectively avoid disease recurrence in the short term, with high application value.
