Discussion on the Theoretical Connotation of Co-regulation of Liver and Spleen in Treatment of Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Based on Intestinal Flora and"Zangfu Bietong Theory"
The occurrence and development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease are influenced by the gut microbiota. The co-regulation of liver and spleen therapy can improve non-alcoholic fatty liver disease by regu-lating the rise and fall of Qi,water and grain transportation, and blood circulation. The theory of Zangfu Bietong in traditional Chinese medicine believes that"the liver is connected to the large intestine"and"the spleen is connected to the small intestine".By discussing the correlation between the liver and spleen, intestinal microbiota, and non-alcoholic fatty liver, the theoretical connotation of liver and spleen coordinated therapy for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is enriched, and the two major treatment principles of soothing the liver, strengthening the spleen, and promoting spleen circulation and clearing the liver are established, which provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver in traditional Chinese medicine.
