Exploration and Theoretical Expression of Classical Acupuncture and Moxibustion Body Construction Thought
This research systematically explored and analyzed the"Chinese style body"structure thought as the basis of the classic acupuncture and moxibustion theory, and promoted the research on modern expression of related classical theories, using multidisciplinary methods such as traditional Chinese medcian(TCM)philology, history, and exegetics, from the perspective of the"combination of Taoism"and"combination of reality and falsehood"of Chinese traditional academic science and philosophy. To solve the confusion of Shen and Ti under the modern context, this study examined Shen and Ti from multiple dimensions such as overall and key, entity and abstract, and elaborated on the"dual tube"view of body integrity and the horizontal view of emphasizing the diaphragm and navel. It explored the integration of virtual and real elements in the meridians of the body,as well as the vertical and horizontal interaction of acupoints.Furthermore, combined with human body movement patterns and the concept of"Yang receiving Qi at the four ends and Yin receiving Qi at the five internal organs",it explored the"unity of form and Qi"in the body and prospected the"spirit level"that corresponds to the body structure. From the perspective of exploring the construction of body, combined with mutual learning of Chinese and Western medicine, this paper involved the textual research and modern expression of acupuncture and moxibustion classic theories, such as eight extra meridians, great collateral vessel of the spleen, six meridians, five body constituents, contralateral meridian needling, contralateral collateral needling, and so on.
