Investigation and Research on the Current Situation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Clinic in Hunan Province
Objective:To understand the current situation of the establishment of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)nursing clinic in Hunan Province,and provide a basis for the formulation of the construction and management standards for TCM nursing clinic.Methods:From October to December 2022,a self-designed TCM Nursing Clinic Development Status Questionnaire in Hunan Province was used to investigate the outpatient environment,operation mode,personnel qualification,management mode and other aspects of public TCM hospitals in Hunan Province.Results:A total of 97 public TCM hospitals participated in the questionnaire,and 104 valid questionnaires were collected.The survey results showed that 44.33%(43/97)of the hospitals have set up inde-pendent TCM nursing clinics,all of which have been established within the past 5 years.37.21%(16/43)of the TCM nursing clinics offered more than 10 appropriate TCM technologies.The consultation mode mainly focused on medical and nursing cooperation,and the coverage of diseases included chronic disease management,preventive treatment,and so on.18.60%(8/43)of the clinics carried out"Internet +"nursing services.The development of TCM mainly focuses on medical and nursing cooperation in tertiary TCM hospital was better than that in secondary TCM hospital.Conclusion:The TCM nursing clinic has developed rapidly in Hunan Province,and the establishment of TCM nursing clinic has achieved remarkable results in meeting the health needs of patients.In the future,it is necessary to further promote the improvement of relevant management norms,attach importance to the cultivation of TCM nursing personnel,strengthen the development of grassroots scientific research,and standardize the charging standards for TCM nursing.
